DEEP WELL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1976 -4 (WELL #8)
AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
BE IT RESOLVED b t
O y he City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The plans and specifications for the following improvement
prepared b the City Engineer, are hereby approved and ordered filed

with the City Clerk:
Deep Well Improvement Project No. 1976 -4 (Well #8)
2. The Clerk shall advertise for bids for such improvement
by publication at least once in the official newspaper and in the
Construction Bulletin, the date of first publication not less than
ten days prior to the date for receipt of bids. Said notice shall
state that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed and
accanpanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check or certified
check payable to the City Clerk in the amount of not less than five
per cent (5/) of the bids.
3. Bid date is set for Monday, August 23, 1976, at 11:00
o'clock A.M., central daylight time.
4. The City Manager and City Engineer shall be authorized to
open and tabulate the bids.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts,
Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Robert Jensen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declaredcdily passed and adopted.
