HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976-101 CCR Member Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76 -101 RESOLUTION PROHIBITING THE INSTALLATION OF SANITARY OR STORM SEWER LINES WITHIN 50 FEET OF PROPOSED DEEP WELL NO. 8 WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center proposes to construct Deep Well No. 8 on the property described as Outlot A, Baerg's 1 st Addition; and WHEREAS, the regulations of the Minnesota State Health Department prohibit the placement of sanitary or storm sewer lines within 50 feet of a deep well; and WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center does not own all of the property within 50 feet of said well location; and WHEREAS, the said State Health Department will accept, for pollution control, a resolution from the Brooklyn Center City Council prohibiting installation of sanitary or storm sewer lines within 50 feet of said well. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that no permits be issued for the installation of sanitary and storm sewer lines within 50 feet of proposed Well No. 8 located on Outlot A, Baerg's 1 st Addition. August 9, 1976 Date Mayor ATTEST:( Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
