RESOLUTION NO. 76 -11
j RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO TECHNICAL AND ENGINEERING ASSISTANCE
AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS
WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota, acting through its Commis-
sioner of Highways, is authorized to provide technical and engineer-
ing assistance to other road authorities by M.S. 161.39, and is
willing to do so
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center as follows:
1. The City of Brooklyn Center enter into a Technical and
Engineering Assistance Agreement with the State of
Minnesota, Department of Highways.
2. The Mayor and City Manager be and they are hereby
authorized to execute such an agreement and thereby
assume for and on behalf of the City of Brooklyn Center
all of the contractual obligations therein.
3. The City Engineer for and on behalf of the City of
Brooklyn Center is hereby authorized to request and
obtain from the Minnesota Department of Highways
needed engineering and technical services during the
year of 1976, for which payment will be made by the
City of Brooklyn Center upon receipt of verified claims
from the Commissioner of Highways.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Robert Jensen and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Robert Jensen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
