HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976-022 CCR Member Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76 -22 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF ONE 3/4 TON VAN AND TWO 27,500 GVW DUMP TRUCKS WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is authorized to participate in the Hennepin County Purchasing Agreement; and WHEREAS, on Tuesday, December 2, 1975, at 2:00 p.m. bids were received for the furnishing of one 3/4 ton van and two 27,500 GVW dump trucks: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Malkerson Motors in the amount of $4,048.90 for the furnishing of one 1976 Chevrolet 3/4 ton van in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Freeway Ford in the amount of $26,448.78 for the furnishing of two 27,500 GVW Ford dump trucks, including options, in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted Ap Tanuary 26. 1976 Date Mayor ATTEST: l �k The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
