HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976-023 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76 -23 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE 3/4 TON PICK -UP TRUCK FOR THE PUBLIC UTILITY DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended and the City Manager concurs, that Public Utilities Unit #623, a 7 year old, 3/4 ton pick -up, be replaced because it is uneconomical to repair; and WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is authorized to participate in the Hennepin County Purchasing Agreement; and WHEREAS, on Tuesday, December 2, 1975, at 2:00 p.m., bids were received for the furnishing of one 3/4 ton pick -up. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of North Star Dodge in the amount of $4,103.71 for the furnishing of one 1976 Dodge 3/4 ton pick -up in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. January 26, 1976 Date Mayor I f f s ATTEST Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Robert Jensen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
