HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976-041 CCR Member Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76 -41 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. ERV BLOMBERG WHEREAS, Mr. Ery Blomberg served as a member of the Human Rights Commission from January, 1975 through January, 1976; and WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mr. Ery Blomberg as a member of the Human Rights Commission and citizen is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. March c 8, 1976 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Robert Jensen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
