moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 76 -43
RESOLUTION COMMENDING JAMES V. LACINA FOR SERVICE
TO BROOKLYN CENTER
WHEREAS, James V. Lacina served as an Administrative Assistant to
the City Manager from July, 1973 to March, 1976; and
WHEREAS, his devotion to assigned tasks contributed to the efficient
and effective operation of municipal administrative services; and
WHEREAS, his efforts as Secretary and Manager's liaison to the Park
and Recreation Commission and the Conservation Commission contributed
significantly to the development and progress of these Commissions:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center to commend James V. Lacina for his noteworthy service
for the City of Brooklyn Center.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Robert Jensen and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler,
Bill Fignar, and Robert Jensen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
