HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976-048 CCR Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76 -48 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR ONE 16" BRUSH CHIPPER WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and the City Clerk have reported that on March 17, 1976 at 11:00 a.m. they opened and tabulated bids received for furnishing and delivery of one 16" brush chipper and that said bids were as follows: Bidder Bid Price Hayden Murphy Equipment Co. $6,076.00 MacQueen Equipment, Inc. 6,164.00 Road Machinery Supplies Co. 5,700.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Road Machinery Supplies Co. in the amount of $5,700 for furnishing and delivering one 16" brush chipper in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bW submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted.° March 22, 1976 Date Mayor ATTEST: Cle The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Robert Jensen and upon vote being taken thereon, 'the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. i
