adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 76 -69
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED
STREET GRADING, BASE SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
NO'S. 1976 -1 AND 1976 -2
WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed improvements consisting
of the following:

Project No. Improvement Cost
1976 -1 Street grading, base and surfacing on proposed
Woodbine Lane from 498 feet east of Bryant
Avenue to Camden Avenue North. $17,000.00
1976 -2 Street grading, base and surfacing on proposed
72nd Avenue North from 123 feet east of Aldrich
Court to Camden Avenue North. 20,500.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report advising that
said proposed improvements are feasible and that they can be constructed at
estimated costs as indicated above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by
Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes.
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvements shall be held
at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 28th day of June,
1976, at 8:00 p.m. central daylight time, and the Clerk
shall publish notices of the time and place of hearing by two
weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is
as follows:
ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED
STREETS AND /OR TO BE BENEFITED BY THE IMPROVEMENTS.
4. These proposed improvements shall be designated Street
Grading, Base Surfacing Improvement Project No's.
1976 -1 and 1976 -2.

The motion for theadoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
Maurice Britts Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Robert Jensen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
