1981 Kaleidoscope Report
A booth at Kaleidoscope for the Charter Commission was arranged
through Brad Hoffman, administrative assistant. The city also provided
the sign which identified our group.
The commission decided that copies of Article X, Rules of Procedure
and copies of the chart by Stanley Peskar, General Counsel to the League
of Minnesota Cities on methods of amending the Home Rule Charter be given
to the public. Newly printed copies of the Brooklyn Center Charter and
applications forms for new members to the charter commission were also
available.
Commissioners were very cooperative in giving two hours each at the
m• Charter Commission Booth on April 5th. Approximately twenty Brooklyn
J Center Charters were given away. All application forms were given out.

forms have been returned to our Chairman, William Hannay, perhaps we should
M. S have also taken.nama s and telephone numbers of those interested in becoming
S€ ai commissioners: The `wall back-of the.table was quite bare except for our
sign. Perhaps a chart or''pic<tures of the commissioners could have made the
booth more L 4 tt.ractive:
