adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 75 -19
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF ONE (1) RUBBER TIRED
WHEEL TRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of Public Works have reported
that on December 19, 1974 at 11:00 a.m. they opened and tabulated bids received
for furnishing and delivery of one rubber tired wheel tractor and that said bids
were as follows:

WHEREAS, it is determined, upon recommendation of the City Manager, that
the bid of Case Power Equipment Company is disqualified for failure to meet
minimum specifications; and
WHEREAS, the specifications provide for an option whether or not to accept
the trade -in allowance; and
WHEREAS, Brooklyn Center School District No. 286 has made a written offer
to purchase the trade -in tractor for the allowance quoted at $1 350.00:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center that the bid of Midway Tractor Equipment in the amount of
$11 317.00 for furnishing and delivering one rubber tired wheel tractor is deemed
to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to authorize sale of the proposed trade -in tractor to
Brooklyn Center School District No. 286 for $1,350.00.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Robert Jensen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar
and Robert Jensen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
