HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-028 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75 -28 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MRS. SHIRLEY NELSON WHEREAS, Mrs. Shirley Nelson served as a member of the Housing Commission from October 30, 1973 through December 31, 1974; and WHEREAS, her devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, her public service and civic effort for the better- ment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mrs. Shirley Nelson as a member of the Housing Commission and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. January 20, 1975 Date Mayor ATTEST. e1 e rk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
