moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 75-57
RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1975 GENERAL FUND BUDGET
WHEREAS, Section 7.08 of the City Charter does provide for the increase
of a budget appropriation by the City Council if the actual receipts exceed the
estimates; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did on November 18, 1974 establish a
"Detached Worker Program" within the 1975 General Fund Budget by the adoption
of Resolution No. 74 -195; and
WHEREAS, at the time the program was established certain other agencies
and City business firms had pledged financial support to the program; and
WHEREAS, the City has received a cash contribution in the amount of $500
from the Suburban Recreation Association to be used for the program:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center to acknowledge the contribution with gratitude; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of 500 be appropriated to the
Detached Worker Program Professional Services Account No. 01- 4310 000 -21
in the 1975 General Fund Budget.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler,
Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
