HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-057 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75-57 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1975 GENERAL FUND BUDGET WHEREAS, Section 7.08 of the City Charter does provide for the increase of a budget appropriation by the City Council if the actual receipts exceed the estimates; and WHEREAS, the City Council did on November 18, 1974 establish a "Detached Worker Program" within the 1975 General Fund Budget by the adoption of Resolution No. 74 -195; and WHEREAS, at the time the program was established certain other agencies and City business firms had pledged financial support to the program; and WHEREAS, the City has received a cash contribution in the amount of $500 from the Suburban Recreation Association to be used for the program: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to acknowledge the contribution with gratitude; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of 500 be appropriated to the Detached Worker Program Professional Services Account No. 01- 4310 000 -21 in the 1975 General Fund Budget. March 10, 1975 Date Mayor ATTEST: C lerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
