HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-067 CCR Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75 -67 RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE CONCEPTS EMBODIED IN H.F. 1137 WHEREAS, Brooklyn Center is supportive of legislation responsibly designed to increase the supply of low and moderate cost housing and to preserve the existing stock of housing: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center as follows: 1 To support H.F. 1137 which is intended to increase the range of eligibility for housing assistance from the State Housing Finance Agency. 2. To direct that copies of this resolution be transmitted to the Governor of the State of Minnesota and to Minnesota legislators representing the City of Brooklyn Center. April 7, 1975 Date G Mayor ATTEST: clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
