HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-079 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75 -79 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PLANT -MIXED BITUMINOUS MATERIAL WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and the City Clerk have reported that on April 16, 1975, at 11 :00 a.m. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of plant -mixed bituminous materials and said bids were as follows: Bidder Coarse Aggregate Fine Aggregate 85 to 100 Winter Patch Furn. Load /ton Furn. Load /ton Penetration /ton Mix /ton Bury Carlson 8 miles 9.80 $10.60 $10.10 9.80 Dunkley Surfacing 3 miles 9.40 9.95 9.75 12.00 C.S. McCrossan 7 miles 7.80 8.10 7.80 8.50 Midwest Asphalt 6 miles 10.75 11.50 10.75 12.50 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, that the bid of C.S. McCros san for furnishing plant -mixed bituminous materials in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid 's hereb ccepted. April 21, 1975 Date Mayor ATTEST: C lerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Robert Jensen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
