moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 75 -90
RESOLUTION CANCELLING ASSESSMENTS ON PLAT 89026,
PARCEL 1810 AND REINSTATING ASSESSMENTS TO PLAT
89026, PARCEL 2010
WHEREAS, on February 4, 1972, the City of Brooklyn Center
received a check in the amount of $1,469.32 from Midwest Federal,
Brookdale office, for payment of special assessments on Plat 89026,
Parcel 1810; and
WHEREAS, said payment was erroneously credited to Plat 89026,
Parcel 2010 and special assessments erroneously cancelled on said
Parcel 2010; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Floyd C. Watson, 1705 73rd Avenue North, owner
of Plat 89026, Parcel 1810, has paid assessments amounting to $458.01
for the years 1973 and 1974; and
WHEREAS, the assessments for 1711 73rd Avenue North, Plat
89026, Parcel 2010, have not been paid in full, but are currently off
the tax rolls:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center to authorize the City Treasurer to refund to
Mr. Floyd C. Watson, the amount of $458.01, which amount represents
the 1973 and 1974 installments of the special assessments for Plat
89026, Parcel 1810, that should have been cancelled from the tax rolls.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center to direct the Director of Finance of Hennepin County
to make the following corrections:
1) Cancel all special assessments for Plat 89026, Parcel
1810.
2) Reinstate the following assessments plus the interest
collectable for 1973 and 1974 beginning on the 1975
tax rolls for the remaining life of the levies to
Plat 89026, Parcel 2010:

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts,
Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
