HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-108 CCR Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75 -108 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REDUCTION OF SUBDIVISION CASH ESCROW AND THE DISBURSEMENT OF REMAINING FUNDS FOR BROOK PARK ESTATES WHEREAS, a cash escrow in the amount of $3,600.00 was posted by the Brook Park Baptist Church to guarantee certain sub- division improvements for the Brook Park Estates, as set forth in the Financial Performance Guarantee by Developer, dated July 23, 1974; and WHEREAS, $600.00 of the above amount was released to the Brook Park Baptist Church as per Resolution No. 74 -205; and WHEREAS, the amount of subdivision improvements remaining to be completed under said cash escrow is estimated to cost $2,400.00; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to authorize the reduction of the $3,000.00 cash escrow posted by the Brook Park Baptist Church to guarantee certain subdivision improvements for the Brook Park Estates to $2,400.00. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer be authorized to issue a check to the Brook Park Baptist Church in the amount of $600.00, which amount represents the difference to be returned to them as cash escrow excess. c-- June 23, 1975 d Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
