HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-113 CCR Member Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:. RESOLUTION NO. 75 -113 RESOLUTION ORDERING ADDITION OF ALLEY PAVING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1974 -20 TO CONTRACT 1975 -A WHEREAS, on June 2, 1975, the Brooklyn Center City Council awarded Contract 1975 -A in the amount of $71,620.00 to C. S. McCrossan, Inc., on the basis of said bid being the lowest bid received under Alternate "B and WHEREAS, on June 2, 1975, the City received bids for Alley Paving Improvement Projects No. 1974 -20, 1975 -1, 1975 -2, and 1975 -3, but deleted said Project No. 1974 -20 from said Contract 1975 -A; and WHEREAS, Section 7 -H of the General Conditions of said contract permits the Owner, through the Engineer, to order additions up to 25% of the total contract price without invalidating the con- tract; and WHEREAS, the total cost of work comprehended by said Project No. 1974 -20 amounts to $8,676.00, and constitutes twelve per cent (12 of the total contract amount of $71,620.00; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Engineer be directed to add Alley Paving Improvement Project No. 1974 -20 to Contract No. 1975 -A with payment made in accordance with contract bid prices received for Alley Paving Improvement Projects No. 1974 -20, 1975 -1, 2 3. Tune 23, 1975 6y Date, Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Robert Jensen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
