HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-177 CCR Member Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75 -177 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF PHOTO COLOR PROCESSING EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, Section 6 :05 of the City Charter of the City of Brooklyn Center does require that the City Manager must first obtain the approval of the City Council prior to making or letting contracts for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work when the amount of such contract exceeds one thousand dollars ($1,000) but is less than twenty five hundred dollars ($2,500); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of photo color processing equipment and has determined that the quotation of Treck PhotoGraphic Inc. in the amount of $1,500 is the best quotation submitted: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of photo color processing equipment in the amount of $1,500 from Treck PhotoGraphic Inc. September 8, 1975 0 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Robert Jensen and upon vote t)eing taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
