and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 75 -182
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 1975 -6 AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, a letter dated July 25, 1975, from Harold G.
Jorgenson has been presented to the City Council requesting
Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1975 -6; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Jorgenson has indicated a willingness to
pay for one -half (1/2) of the project cost or up to $4,000.00,
whichever amount is least and has posted with the City of Brooklyn
Center a financial guarantee in the amount of $4,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to initiate
the above mentioned improvement project:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Engineer to
prepare plans and specifications for said improvement project,
described as follows:
1975 -6 Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1975 -6
Storm sewer northerly for a distance of approximately
70 feet along the east gutter line of Orchard Avenue
North from a point 91 feet north of the 63rd Avenue
centerline; thence easterly for a distance of approx-
imately 255 feet overlying utility easements across
Block 2, Bergstrom's Lynside Manor, and a portion of
Lot 9, Block 3, Fair Meadows 2nd Addition.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
