HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-182 CCR Member Robert Jensen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75 -182 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1975 -6 AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WHEREAS, a letter dated July 25, 1975, from Harold G. Jorgenson has been presented to the City Council requesting Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1975 -6; and WHEREAS, Mr. Jorgenson has indicated a willingness to pay for one -half (1/2) of the project cost or up to $4,000.00, whichever amount is least and has posted with the City of Brooklyn Center a financial guarantee in the amount of $4,000.00; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to initiate the above mentioned improvement project: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement project, described as follows: 1975 -6 Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1975 -6 Storm sewer northerly for a distance of approximately 70 feet along the east gutter line of Orchard Avenue North from a point 91 feet north of the 63rd Avenue centerline; thence easterly for a distance of approx- imately 255 feet overlying utility easements across Block 2, Bergstrom's Lynside Manor, and a portion of Lot 9, Block 3, Fair Meadows 2nd Addition. Sebtember 8. 1975 Date Mayor ATTEST: 'Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
