HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-190 CCR Member Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75 -190 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1975 -6 I WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improve- ment consisting of the following: Estimated Project No. Improvement Cost 1975 -6 Storm sewer northerly for a distance of approximately 70 feet along the east gutter line of Orchard Ave. No. from a point 91 feet north of the 63rd Avenue centerline; thence easterly for a distance of approximately 255 feet overlying utility easements across Block 2, Bergstrom's Lynside Manor Addition, and a portion of Lot 9, Block 3, Fair Meadows 2nd Addition. $8,000.00 WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report advising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at estimated costs as indicated above. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 6th day of October, 1975, at 8:00 P.M., central daylight time, and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is described as follows: LOTS 1 6, BLOCK 2, BERGSTROM'S LYNSIDE MANOR ADDITION, and LOTS 1 17, BLOCK 3, FAIR MEADOWS 2ND ADDITION 4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1975 -6. RESOLUTION NO. 75 -190 September 22, 1975 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Tony Kuefler, Maurice Britts, and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
