HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-200 CCR The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the con-
sideration of proposed Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1975 -6.
The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of
hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication
thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on
October 2, 1975, which affidavit was examined and found satis-
factory and ordered placed on file.
The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to
present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement.
After hearing and considering all objections, and the property
owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Tony Kuefler
introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 110. 75 -200
RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF STORM SEWER
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1975 -6
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary
and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property
specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be
constructed:
Project No. 1975 -6
Storm sewer northerly for a distance of approximately
70 feet along the east gutter line of Orchard Ave. No.
from a point 91 feet north of the 63rd Avenue center-
line; thence easterly for a distance of approximately
255 feet overlying utility easements across Block 2,
Bergstrom's Lynside Manor Addition, and a portion of
Lot 9, Block 3, Fair Meadows 2nd Addition.
The estimated cost is $8,000.00.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Robert Jensen and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
