HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-211 CCR Member Robert Jensen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75 -211 RESOLUTION DIRECTING PLANNING COMMISSION REVIEW OF CERTAIN ZONING AND SUBDIVISION MATTERS WHEREAS, the City Council on December 9, 1974 requested a comprehensive review by the Planning Advisory Commission of ordinance requirements in terms of waterfront properties and, platted substandard lots throughout the community to provide for a uniform approach to future development proposals; and WHEREAS, it is reported that the Planning Commission has incorporated those review items with its ongoing review of the Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council on October 20, 1975 determined a more timely analysis of those issues was warranted with respect to development proposals in the southeast and southwest neighborhoods: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the Planning Commission be urged to review ordinance requirements relative to waterfront properties and to minimum lot dimensions in the R -2 district and that the Commission establish a timetable within which related recommendations may be developed. November 3, 1975 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Tony Kuefler, Maurice Britts, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
