HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-233 CCR Member Robert Jensen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75 -233 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. DONALD DAVIS WHEREAS, Mr. Donald Davis served as a member of the Human Rights Commission from January 1973 through December 1975; and WHEREAS, he served as Chairman of the Human Rights Commission from January 1974 through December 1975; and WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission, and the leadership he provided, contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mr. Donald Davis as a member of the Human Rights Commission and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. December 22, 1975 Date !1 ATTEST �t Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
