moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 75 -238
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FIVE (5)
POLICE PATROL SEDANS
WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is authorized to participate in
the Hennepin County Purchasing Agreement; and
WHEREAS, on Tuesday, November 18, 1975, at 2:00 p.m. bids were
received for the furnishing of five (5) police patrol sedans.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center that the bid of Iten Chevrolet for three (3) 1976 compact
Chevrolet Nova police patrol sedans in the amount of $12,884.79 ($4,294.93
each) and that the bid of Central Chrysler Plymouth for two (2) 1976 intermediate
Plymouth Fury police patrol sedans in the amount of $8,536 ($4,268 each) in
accordance with the specifications are deemed to be the best bids submitted
by a responsible bidder and said bids eby accepted.

Motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony
Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Robert Jensen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
