HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-176 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74 -1 76 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF RESIDUAL CHLORINE ANALYZER WHEREAS, Section 6:05 of the City Charter of the City of Brooklyn Center requires that the City Manager first obtain the approval of the City Council prior to making or letting contracts for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work when the amount of such contract exceeds one thousand dollars ($1,000) but is less than twenty -five hundred dollars ($2,500); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of a Residual Chlorine Analyzer and has determined that the quotation of Wallace Tiernan in the amount of $2,470 for One A780 Residual Chlorine Analyzer is the best quotation submitted: BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of One A780 Residual Chlorine Analyzer in the amount of $2,470 from Wallace Tiernan. OctQber 7, 1974 Date Mayor Imo,; ATTEST Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Robert Jensen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
