HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-177 CCR The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the con-
sideration of proposed Street Grading, Base Surfacing Improvement
Project No. 1974 -32.
The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of
hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication
thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being; on
October 17, 1974, which affidavit was examined and found satis-
factory and ordered placed on file.
The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to
present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement.
After *hearing and considering all objections, and the property
owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Robert Jensen
introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTIONd NO. 74 -177
RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF STREET GRADING,
BASE SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1974 -32
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary
and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property
specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be
constructed:
Project No. 1974 -32
Street grading, base and surfacing on 67th Avenue North
from James Avenue to approximately 180 feet easterly of
James Avenue.
The estimated cost is$13,500.00.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
