HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-187 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74 -187 RESOLUTION DENYING MR. ROBERT GORDON A TAXICAB LICENSE IN THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER WHEREAS, Mr. Robert Gordon applied for a taxicab license on behalf of Radio Cab Company; and WHEREAS, the Police Department has conducted a thorough investigation of Mr. Gordon; and WHEREAS, the Police Department has recommended denial of the application due to the extent and nature of Mr. Gordon's criminal record; and WHEREAS, Mr. Gordon did not present proper liability insurance coverage as required; and WHEREAS, the City Council considered the application on October 21, 1974: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Brooklyn Center City Council that the application for a taxicab license made by Mr. Robert Gordon on behalf of Radio Cab Company is hereby denied. November 4. 1974 Date Mayor ATTEST: 6lerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Robert Jensen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
