adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 74 -187
RESOLUTION DENYING MR. ROBERT GORDON A TAXICAB LICENSE
IN THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER
WHEREAS, Mr. Robert Gordon applied for a taxicab license on behalf of
Radio Cab Company; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department has conducted a thorough investigation of
Mr. Gordon; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department has recommended denial of the application
due to the extent and nature of Mr. Gordon's criminal record; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Gordon did not present proper liability insurance coverage as
required; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered the application on October 21, 1974:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Brooklyn Center City Council that
the application for a taxicab license made by Mr. Robert Gordon on behalf of Radio
Cab Company is hereby denied.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Robert Jensen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and
Robert Jensen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
