HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-202 CCR Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74 -202 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. GREG ALMEN WHEREAS, Mr. Greg Almen served as a member of the Conservation Commission from January, 1971 through November, 1974; and WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mr. Greg Almen as a member of the Conservation Commission and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the City enter. December 9. 1974 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
