HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-205 CCR Member Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74 -205 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REDUCTION OF SUBDIVISION CASH ESCROW AND THE DISBURSEMENT OF REMAINING FUNDS FOR BROOK PARK ESTATES WHEREAS, a cash escrow in the amount of $3,600.00 was posted by the Brook Park Baptist Church to guarantee certain subdivision improvements for the Brook Park Estates, as set forth in the Financial Performance Guarantee by Developer, dated July 23, 1974; and WHEREAS, the subdivision improvements required for Lot 1, Block 1, Brook Park Estates, amounting to $600.00 have been satis- factorily completed; and WHEREAS, the amount of subdivision improvements remaining to be completed under said cash escrow is estimated to cost $3,000.00; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to authorize the reduction of the $3,600.00 cash escrow posted by the Brook Park Baptist Church to guarantee certain subdivision improvements for the Brook Park Estates to $3,000.00. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer be authorized to issue a check to the Brook Park Baptist Church in the amount of $600.00, which amount represents the difference to be returned to them as cash escrow excess. December 9, 1974 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Robert Jens en and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
