adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 74 -209
RESOLUTION AWARDING INSURANCE CONTRACTS
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has prepared specifications and sought
proposals for certain City insurance coverages; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and the Administrative Assistant to the
City Manager have reported that said proposals were received until and opened
at 11:00 a.m. December 4, 1974; and
WHEREAS, said proposals were evaluated by the Director of Finance and
Mr. William Peet, an independent insurance consultant; and
WHEREAS, they have recommended certain insurance proposals as being
the best as to coverage, service and price to the City of Brooklyn Center:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center to accept the proposals and award insurance contracts as follows:
1 Package Insurance (Public and Automobile Liability; Property;
Steam Boiler and Breakdown; Vehicle Collision and Compre-
hensive; Fidelity, Faithful Performance and Forgery; Money
and Securities Destruction and Disappearance; Business
Interuption)
Commencing: January 1 1975 for three years
Estimated Annual Premium: $27,750
Award to: Associated General Agency and The Home Insurance
Company
2. Dram Shop (Liquor) Liability Insurance
Commencing: January 1 1975 for three years
Estimated Annual Premium: $3,200
Award to: Associated General Agency and The Home Insurance
Company
3. Umbrella Liability Insurance
Commencing: January 1, 1975 for three years
Estimated Annual Premium: $3,998
Award to: Wellman's Associates, Inca and Gulf Insurance
Company
4. Workmen's Compensation Insurance
Commencing: July 1, 1975 for two and one -half years
Award to: Associated General Agency and the Home Insurance
Company

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Robert Jensen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and
Robert Jensen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
