HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-136 CCR Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74 -136 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ALLEY PAVING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1974 -20 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improvement consisting of the following: Estimated Project No. Improvement Cost 1974 -20 Between Logan Avenue North and Morgan Avenue North from 53rd Avenue to 54th Avenue. $12,600.00 WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report advising that said proposed improvement project is feasible and that it can be constructed at the estimated cost as indicated above; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvements shall be held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 9th day of September, 1974, at 8:30 o'clock P.M., central daylight time, and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED STREETS AND /OR TO BE BENEFITTED BY THE IMPROVEMENT. 4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Alley Paving Improvement Project No. 1974 -20. August 19, 1974 Date Mayor ATTEST: d Z. z• r The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Robert Jensen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
