HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-145 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74 -145 RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE DISBURSEMENT OF CASH ESCROW FOR BAERG 1ST ADDITION WHEREAS, a certified check in the amount of $3,000.00 was posted by David Baerg to guarantee certain subdivision improvements for the Baerg lst Addition, as set forth in the Financial Perform- ance Guarantee by Developer, dated June 23, 1972; and WHEREAS, the street surfacing as guaranteed by the above mentioned cash escrow was duly installed as part of Project 1972 -34 for Lots 1, 2 and 3, of Block 1, Baerg's lst Addition; and WHEREAS, the cost attributable to the said lots in Baerg's lst Addition is $2,246.91; and WHEREAS, the amount of improvements remaining to be completed under said cash escrow is estimated to cost $450.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Treasurer to negotiate the existing cash escrow and credit the proper construction account a total of $2,246.91. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer retain the amount of $450.00 until all other work is completed in Baerg lst Addition and issue a check in the amount of $303.09 to David Baerg, which amount represents the difference to be returned to him as cash escrow excess. September 9, 1974 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
