HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-053 CCR The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the con- sideration of proposed Curb Gutter Sidewalk Improvement Project No. 1974 -6. The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on April 4, 1974, which affidavit was examined and found satis- factory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONI NO. 74 -53 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF CURB GUTTER AND SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1974 -6 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed: Project No. 1974 -6 (M.S.A. 109 109 -13) Curb and gutter and sidewalk on the easterly and northerly half of Shingle Creek Parkway from 67th Avenue North to the southerly extension of the east property line of Tract A, R.L.S. 1274. The estimated cost is $39,000.00. April 8, 1974 Date Mayor ATTEST .r The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Robert Jensen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Bill Fignar, Tony Kuefler and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
