sideration of proposed Bridge Improvement Project No. 1972 -20.
The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of
hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication
thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on
April 4, 1974, which affidavit was examined and found satis-
factory and ordered placed on file.
The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to
present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement.
After *hearing and considering all objections, and the property
owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Maurice Britts
introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 74 -66
RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF BRIDGE IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 1972 -20
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary
and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property
specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be
constructed:
Project No. 1972 -20 (M.S.A.P. 109 121 -02)
Bridge on Freeway Boulevard crossing over Shingle Creek.
The estimated cost is $250,000.00, based on contract bid
prices.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Tony Kuefler, and upon .vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
Maurice Britts, Bill Fignar, Tony Kuefler and Robert Jensen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
