HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-079 CCR Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74 -79 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR STABILIZED GRAVEL AND FINE AGGREGATE FOR SEAL COAT WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on April 25, 1974, at 11:00 a.m. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of stabilized gravel and fine aggregate for seal coat and that said bids were as follows: Class #5 Class #5 FA -1 Buck- Buck Gravel Gravel Sand shot shot Bidder Del. A B Aggregate $1.70 .92 No bid No bid No bid Alexander Constr. $2.05 $1.25 No bid No bid No bid Anderson Aggregate $1.65 .91 .57 $3.20 $2.40 Barton Constr. $1.78 .97 .57 $3.05 $2.25 Buesing Bros. $1.65 $1.05 No bid No bid No bid Dunkley Surfacing $1.85 .95 No bid No bid No bid Oscar Roberts No bid No bid .65 No bid No bid NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, that the bid of Anderson Aggregate for the furnishing of Class #5 gravel and FA -1 sand in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Barton Construction for the furnishing of buckshot in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted.
