HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-080 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74 -80 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on April 25, 1974 at 11:00 a.m. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing and delivery of reinforced concrete pipe and that said bids were as follows: 15" RCP 12" RCP 27" 39" Class 4 Class 4 C. B. C.B. Bidder per ft. per ft. per ft. Bases ea. Total Elk River Concrete 3.49 2.84 24.19 13.47 7 Bladholm Bros. Culvert Co. 4.20 3.54 11.37 13.33 7,110.25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Elk River Concrete Products for the furnishing of reinforced concrete pipe in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Bladholm Brothers Culvert Co. for the furnishing of catch basins and catch basin bases in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. May 6, 1974 Date:' F Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
