HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-081 CCR Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74 -81 RESOLUTION RETECTING ALL BIDS FOR BITUMINOUS OIL WHEREAS, bids were received at 11:00 a.m. April 25, 1974 for bituminous oil and the four companies bidding all took exception to the bid by including an escalation clause: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to reject all bids received for bituminous oil. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be authorized to purchase bituminous oil on the open market for the 1974 construction season subject to acquisition of at least two quotations for each pu hase. Mav 6, 1974 Date Mayor C lerk' The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
