RESOLUTION NO. 74 -88
RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION AND APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FOR TRUNK WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
NO. 1974 -13
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center
established Trunk Water Main Improvement Project No. 1974 -13 by
Resolution No. 74 -87 adopted on May 20, 1974;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center as follows:
1. It is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the
best interests of the City that the following improvement shall be
constructed:
Project No. 1974-13
Trunk water main along a line from a point approximately
450 feet northerly of the centerline of North Lilac Drive
and 52 feet westerly of the projected centerline of Vincent
Avenue North, southerly 8 feet; thence southwesterly 68 feet;
thence westerly 48 feet; thence northwesterly 42 feet; thence
westerly to a point lying 10 feet southeasterly of the T.H.100
R /O /W on the southwesterly property line of Water Tower Site
No. 3.
The estimated cost is $9,600.00.
2. The City Treasurer be directed to encumber the amount of
$9,600.00 for the construction of said 7
ro'ect from the Public
P
Utilities Operation Fund.
3. The plans and specifications for said project, prepared
by the City Engineer, are hereby approved.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
