HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-008 CCR Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION OLUTION NO. 74 8 i RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SEVEN POLICE CARS THROUGH HENNEPIN COUNTY PURCHASING AGREEMENT WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is authorized to participate in the Hennepin County Purchasing Agreement; and WHEREAS, on Tuesday, December 4, 1973 at 2 :00 p.m. bids were received for the furnishing of police cars: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Shakopee Motors in the amount of $23,233.13 for the furnishing of seven police patrol cars, including options, in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. January 7, 1 974 Date Mayor A TTEST: dierk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolutionwas duly seconded by member Bill Fignar, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts Bill Fignar, Tony Kuefler, and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
