and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 74 -26
RESOLUTION SHOWING SUPPORT AND DECLARING MARCH 31, 1974
AS BC KALEIDOSCOPE '74 DAY
WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center Community Education Program
is sponsoring a community -wide effort, known as BC Kaleidoscope
'74, to present the resources of Brooklyn Center; and
WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center supports this endeavor
and encourages its citizens to attend and participate in the
program; and.
WHEREAS, BC Kaleidoscope '74 will contribute substantially
to the sound progress and betterment of the community:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center that March 31, 1974 be declared BC
Kaleidoscope '74 Day in Brooklyn Center and that the City
Council supports the efforts of those individuals involved in
the program.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
Maurice Britts Bill Fignar, Tony Kuefler and Robert Jensen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon.said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
