HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-104 CCR Member Robert Jensen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74 -104 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSAL FOR WORKMEN'S COMPENSATION INSURANCE WHEREAS, the City Clerk and the City Treasurer have reported that on June 12, 1974, at 11 :00 a.m. they opened and tabulated proposals for workmen's compensation insurance coverage for the City for the one year period commencing July 1, 1974 and terminating July 1, 1975; and WHEREAS, the proposals were received as follows: AID INSURANCE COMPANY, by Hannay Agency, Inc. HOME INSURANCE COMPANY, by Associated General Agency, Inc. SECURITY INSURANCE GROUP, by Twin City Insurance Agency and by Bankson, Almquist Agency GREAT CENTRAL INSURANCE COMPANY, by The Continental Agency, Inc. and by Cavanagh Insurance Agency IOWA NATIONAL MUTUAL, by Horizon Agency, Inc. NORTHERN INSURANCE COMPANY OF NEW YORK, by Midwest Area, Inc. SELECT INSURANCE COMPANY, by Cavanagh Insurance Agency BITUMINOUS CASUALTY CORPORATION, by Cavanagh Insurance Agency VIGILANT INSURANCE COMPANY, by David Agency FIREMAN'S FUND AMERICAN INSURANCE COMPANY, by David Agency EMPLOYERS INSURANCE OF WAUSAU; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the City Treasurer have reported that the proposal of the EMPLOYERS INSURANCE OF WAUSAU is the best proposal submitted: BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the retrospective plan D (I) proposal of the EMPLOYERS INSURANCE OF WAUSAU for workmen's compensation insurance for the period from July 1, 1974 to July 1, 1975 is hereby accepted. July 8, 1974 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 74 -104 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
