adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 74 -109
RESOLUTION APPROVING COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE BROOKLYN CENTER POLICE ASSOCIATION AND THE
CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER
WHEREAS, the Public Employment Labor Relations Act of 1971 as amended
in 1973 requires a written contract between the employer and the exclusive
representative of certain employees; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been reached through collective bargaining,
mediation, and arbitration with the Brooklyn Center Police Association and the
Brooklyn Center City Manager:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Brooklyn Center City Council
to approve and adopt by reference as though incorporated herein the document
entitled
COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
THE BROOKLYN CENTER POLICE ASSOCIATION
AND
THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER
dated July 8, 1974, three copies of which shall be on file and available for
inspection in the office of the City Clerk.
The Mayor and the City Manager are hereby authorized to execute said
labor agreement on behalf of the City of Brooklyn CeAiter.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill
Fignar and Robert Jensen;
and the following voted against the same none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
