HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-139 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73 -139 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS RELATIVE TO LIQUOR STORE NO. 5 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota as follows: I Plans and specifications for construction of the interior and furnishing and installing equipment at Liquor Store No. 5 (Humboldt Square) are hereby approved. 2. The Clerk shall advertise for bids for such improvement by publication in the official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin, the date of first publication not less than ten days prior to the date for receipt of bids. Said notice shall state that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check payable to the City Clerk in the amount of not less than five per cent (5 of the bid. 3. The City Manager and the City Clerk are authorized to open and tabulate the bids. August 20, 1973 Date Mayor ATTEST 01 Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Bill Fignar, and Tony Kuefler; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
