HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-177 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73 -177 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF TRUNK WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1973 -34 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, established Trunk Water Main Improvement Project No. 1973 -34 by Resolution No. 73 -150 adopted on September 10, 1973; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the best interests of the City that the follow- ing improvement shall be constructed: Project No. 1973 -34 Trunk water main in 66th Avenue North from France Avenue to Brooklyn Boulevard; on an easement across Lot 1, Block 1, Northgate Addition, from Brooklyn Boulevard to Indiana Avenue North; 66th Avenue North from Indiana Avenue to Noble Avenue; Noble Avenue from 66th Avenue North to 67th Avenue North; 67th Avenue North from Noble Avenue to Quail Avenue; Indiana Avenue North from 66th Avenue to 65th Avenue; and 65th Avenue North from Indiana Avenue to June Avenue. The estimated cost is $120,000.00. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer be directed to encumber the amount of $120,000.00 for construction of said project from the Public Utilities Operation Fund.
