HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-187 CCR Member Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION NO. 73 -1,$7 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN SUBURBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY NURSING DISTRICT DURING 1974 WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 145.08 and 145.12 provision has been made for a public health nursing district in that portion of Hennepin County outside the City of Minneapolis; and WHEREAS, pursuant to such authority such a public health nursing district has been organized and has been in operation for several years; and WHEREAS, it is deemed desirable to continue the operation of such nursing district and to provide it with adequate funds for its proper operation: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to continue participation in the public health nursing district of suburban Hennepin County organized on September 4, 1952 and agree to support on an apportionment basis its pro rata share of the cost of the administration of such district during 1974 at an amount not to exceed 30 per capita on the basis of the last official census. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall be deemed an agreement to continue participation in the nursing district along with all other political subdivisions adopting similar resolutions. November 5. 1973 Date Mayor Prom- ATTEST: The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: John Leary, Maurice Britts Bill Fignar, and Tony Kuefler; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
