and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 73 -194
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREETS
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center that the streets hereinafter described should be
designated as Municipal State Aid Streets under the provisions of
Minnesota Laws of 1967, Chapter 162:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the streets described as
follows:

along Brooklyn Blvd.
be, and hereby are established, located, and designated as Municipal
State Aid Streets of said City of Brooklyn Center, subject to the
approval of the Commissioner of Highways of the State of Minnesota.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this
resolution to the Commissioner of Highways for his consideration,
and that upon his approval of the designation of said streets or
portion thereof, that same be constructed, improved, and maintained
as Municipal State Aid Streets of the City of Brooklyn Center, to
be numbered and known as Municipal State Aid Streets as indicated
above.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John
Leary, Bill Fignar and Tony Kuefler;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
