its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 73 -195
RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION
FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. TAMES ORDNER
WHEREAS, Mr. James Ordner served as a member of the Human Rights
Commission from 1972 through 1973; and
WHEREAS, He served as Chairman of the Human Rights Commission from
1972 through 1973; and
WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this
Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development
of the City; and
WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the
community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center that:
The dedicated public service of Mr. James Ordner as a member and
as Chairman of the Human Rights Commission and citizen, is
recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Maurice Britts, Bill Fignar,
and Tony Kuefler;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
