adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 73 1g7
RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 71 -15 TO EXCLUDE
PART OF AUTHORIZED SNOWMOBILE TRAIL NO. 4 IN PALMER
LAKE PARK BASIN
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 71 -15 authorizes snowmobile trails and opera-
tions in certain City parks; and
WHEREAS, Palmer Lake Park Basin contains seven such described trails
numbered 1 7; and
WHEREAS, Palmer Lake Park Basin Trail No. 4, as amended by a motion
by the City Council in and for the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota at the
regular session December 6, 1971, is presently described as follows:
"A strip of land on the easterly boulevard of West
Palmer Lake Drive from Violet Avenue North
extended to 69th Avenue North, and a 100 foot
strip of land north and parallel to the north property
line of 69th Avenue North from West Palmer Lake
Drive to a point approximately 500 feet west of
Oliver Avenue North and
WHEREAS, after consultation with the Brooklyn Center Snow Patrol it is
recommended to delete that segment of the approved Trail No. 4 described as
follows:
"A strip of land on the eastern boulevard of West
Palmer Lake Drive from Violet Avenue North
extended to 69th Avenue North, and a 100 foot
strip of land north of and parallel to the north
property line of 69th Avenue North from West
Palmer Lake Drive to the center line of the
NSP easement":
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that said Resolution No. 71 -15 be amended to
exclude the above described segment of Trail No. 4 in Palmer Lake Park Basin
and that said amended Trail No. 4 be described as follows:
"A 100 foot strip of land from the center line of
the NSP easement north of and parallel to the
north property line of 69th Avenue North to a
point approximately 500 feet west of Oliver
Avenue North".

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Maurice Britts,
Bill Fignar and Tony Kuefler;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
