HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-143 CCRThe Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the con- sideration of proposed Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1972 -28. The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on August 10, 1972 which affidavit was examined and found satis- factory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 72 -143 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1972 -28 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed: ATTEST: Project No. 1972-28 Sanitary Sewer in Lyndale AvenueNorth from 58th Avenue to approximately 550 feet north of 58th Avenue; thence westerly for a distance of approximately 120 feet on an easement overlying the south 20 feet of the easterly one -half of Lot 12, Lyndale Riverside Acres. The estimated cost is $14,100.00, based on contract bid prices. August 14, 1972 Date Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Vernon Ausen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
